                Seduced in Shadow picks up a few months after where Seduced by Magic left off. Ellie, Justin’s sister in now in jeopardy by the Mal. Justin has hired some members of the Fata to watch after her and to be her bodyguards while he and Scarlata have gone into hiding. The de Feo brothers are linchetto’s. They have made a career out of protecting others of their kind. Antonin finds that he enjoys watching over Ellie way too much. He is attracted to her, but he keeps his distance. He takes his job very seriously and wants to keep her out of harm’s way.  While out on one of her early morning jogs she runs directly into the Mal that Antonin has been hired to protect her from.

               The readers learn a little more about the Mal in this installment of the Magical Seduction series. Antonin has some additional magic that not all linchetto are born with. He has considered this extra magic as more of a curse than a blessing his whole life. It is something he has very little control over and he cannot trust others feelings because of it. That added some tension to his and Ellie’s romance. I enjoyed the new magical beings of the Fata that were introduced in this book. I am truly enjoying the uniqueness of this series. It is not dark, it has a very fresh array of magical beings as main characters, the character’s abilities are interesting and romance is erotically hot. I am curious about the Mal. What are their intentions, their ultimate goal? I will definitely read more books in this series!
