This is
definitely a series to read in order and to start from the first book. Found starts a couple of days after the
end of Lost. Darwin is at Pete’s
funeral and he is spiraling down fast. Pete and Darwin had not been lovers
long, but they had been friends for a number of years. Now Darwin has a giant
gaping hole in his life. Darwin is also feeling Pete in a way he never has
before. The readers are shown a different side of Darwin. Darwin is still the
same angry smart ass he has been from the beginning, but now he has a reason to
be truly pissed.
Raithe
has a larger role in this installment of the series. He is trying to take care
of Darwin as he is crumbling from the death of Peter. It turns out that Raithe
is an amazingly caring Lesser-Bred. I’m looking forward to where Wilder will go
with his character.
There
are some major twists and turns in Found.
I’m talking major game changers. It seems that Serge was after Pete for reasons
no one ever saw. Serge is willing to do anything to continue her research and experimentations
on the Kin and Lesser-Bred’s. Pete and Darwin formed a bond, a bond that should
not be metaphysically possible. I’m certainly looking forward to where this
turn of events goes.
