? Flames (no matter what I put there it will be a spoiler, I am so trying not to let that happen)

This is a series that must be read in order and cannot be read as a stand-alone. Green Eyed Demon starts at the very beginning with very fast paced action and holds a steady pace until the nail biting end. There is a very climatic fight at the end of the book. We have quite a few new characters and beings, also many of the mages from book two carry over, while several characters from the first book drop by to wreak havoc on Sabina’s life. One of the characters from Red-Headed Stepchild that makes an appearance is so out of left field I am still wondering how it was pulled off and it made complete sense. A new big bad evil is also introduced
Sabina’s quest to find her twin sister takes her, Giguhl and Adam to New Orleans. They acquire the tip from the being that they kidnap in the fight at the beginning of the book. Rhea has arranged for them to stay at her friend’s home. This friend happens to be a voodoo priestess who resides with a drag queen. There is hilarity from the moment the drag queen is introduced. The voodoo priestess and Sabina get into a mess of trouble in cemetery one night. This installment in the series is going to answer a lot of questions. Before the majority of the questions from the previous books are answered several new problems and conflicts will arise to give you all new questions.
I love how Sabina’s character is evolving. Her attitude is changing. Sabina is taking Oprah like advice from Giguhl and getting to know her emotions. I love Giguhl. He is dishing out advice that one can only imagine came from Dr. Phil’s mouth. This does not take away from the tough kick ass heroine that drives this series. It actually makes her more likable. She is still tough and snarky, yet she is beginning to trust the people that have come into her life.
