This is by far my favorite of the Zorn Warrior books. The father of the 3 previous brothers that I’ve read has finally met a human that he wants. I think what I loved most about Berrr falling for a human was his initial reactions to his sons taking a human female as a mate. He has always seen any female as weak, he believes human females are even weaker. He even feels that they will weaken his royal/elite bloodline when his sons start having children. Oh yes, karma found Berrr.

Shanna has had a rough life. Her life becomes even rougher when she is abducted by aliens to be auctioned off as a sex slave. She has never had anyone to protect her from the sometime cruel life fate can give. This life has made her tough. This life has given her the necessary skills to defend herself and knock Berrr flat on his ass.  

Berrr has an intense blend of nurturing caring male with his alpha planet ruler persona that all must concede too. He only wants to keep Shanna safe. He has quickly come to see her as much more than a weak human. The biggest problem for Berrr and Shanna is the person who almost see’s to her death. I loved this conflict. At many times it seems impossible for Berrr and Shanna to get to their much desired happily ever after. I don’t want to give too much away with how the conflict works out, but it was perfect.

I can’t wait for more books to come out in this series. I love these Zorn males! I just have to decide which one of Laurann’s other series I will be moving onto next. Her Cyborg Seduction or her New Species series. If anyone has an opinion on that please feel free to tell me.

I was so nervous going into Rever and Brenda’s book. I knew from reading the other books in the series that Zorn males have very intense feelings for the woman they are bound to. Rever is bound to another woman from the very beginning of the book. This screamed infidelity to me. I just can’t read that. Laurann wrote Rever and his bound in a way that I quickly over looked the fact that he was lusty for another female.

I felt so sorry for Brenda. She left Earth to get away from a bad marriage among other things. She has agreed to go to a faraway planet, instantly marry a Zorn (alien that she has known for hours,) and never look back. That takes some back bone. Her new man is killed before they ever make it to her new home. Human females are so coveted that she must now go live with another strange Zorn male for protection until her intended’s family comes to claim her. She does this all with little complaints and her head held high.  

I loved the extremes that Rever and Brenda went through to find their happily ever after. Zorn has some very strict laws and dire consequences for disobeying them. Rever and Brenda went through some very tough odds to fight for what they wanted. They believed in what they had and was not going to let anyone or their laws come between them. I also enjoyed the entire judicial ruling on the matter.

The Zorn Warrior series has followed a specific family throughout the books thus far. I am pleased to see that two other brothers were introduced in Tempting Rever, Vhon and Coto. Vhon is apparently the youngest and full of antics that truly show his age. Coto is visibly different from the other Zorn males readers have been introduced to thus far. He has lighter skin and hair compared to the others. I’m definitely looking for to more books from this series and this author.

I love language barriers in romances. I think they are extremely sexy. I love reading the couple jump through hoops to get the other to understand what the other wants. Argernon has decided to explore Earth while his fellow Zorn men are looking for willing female Earthlings to take home with them. He had no intentions of seeking one of the tiny weak looking pale humans. The problem is that once he sees Casey he knows that he has to take her home with him.

Casey is running through the woods behind her property trying to escape an inevitable arrest. Her ex just isn’t taking no as a satisfactory answer. He’s the sheriff and has decided abusing his badge to get his ex back is acceptable. Casey is a bit shocked when Bigfoot becomes her would be rescuer.

Did I mention I LOVE language barriers? Argernon and Casey are getting along just fine sexually. She’s a bit shocked that Bigfoot is sexing her up, but hey it’s the best sex of her life and she is not complaining. Her complaints come when they board his ship (which happens to have translators) and he informs her that he is kidnapping her to his home planet. Argernon’s little forgetful slip ups don’t stop there and they keep him in the doghouse. He has a solution to that problem though. He just keeps Casey in a state of sexual bliss to make her forget he should be in the doghouse.

I loved Casey and Argernon. They were fun to read. Between the Bigfoot confusion, the accidental kidnapping, the surprises he has waiting at home, the reader just never knows where the next bumble in this couple happily ever after will fall next.

Ariel does not know what to do to escape these lizard like people. She always thought Earthlings were alone in the universe. When the Anzon’s declare her useless real fear sets in. What will they do with her now? The cruel Anzon’s have discovered sport in having their Zorn slaves fight for females.

Ral is a male warrior from the planet Zorn who has been kidnapped and forced into slavery by the Anzon’s. He was on a hunting vacation when he and many of his people were caught unaware. Ral wins Ariel in the fight. He is quite pleased with his prize. Ariel soon discovers that Ral is not only the lesser of the two evils, but a very pleasing bed partner who will protect at all costs and possibly get her away from the cruel Anzon’s.

Ral’s Woman is over flowing with very hot erotic sex. Zorn males have a very strong sex drive, thus they must find release often. This makes for a scorching hot read. There is plenty of plot too. Ral is determined not only to free all of his people from the Anzon’s, but to keep his Ariel. Ariel has to adapt to her new home amongst an entire race that see her as a small, weak, inferior female. She shows the Zorn people very quickly that Earth women are willful and tough as nails.

I recommend this read to anyone who likes a good sci fi filled with distant planets, alien races and plenty of hot erotic sex scenes.
