Tess has what she considers a cursed gift. She can see and communicate with the spirits of the dead. Once the departed figures out that she knows they are there they become very persistent in getting her to help them. She really doesn’t mind helping them, but she doesn’t enjoy looking like a crazy who talks to herself. To keep herself from appearing to those around her as a crazy she ignores the spirits. There’s only one problem with her newest follower. The sexy ghost will not let her ignore him and he has discovered the key to keep her attention on him.

Kipp was a cold case detective with the Memphis Police Department. He is now one of the spirits that wants Tess to help him. He was murdered when he had gotten too close to obtaining some unanswered questions to his current case. Using blatant flirting, dirty talking and plenty of flattery he keeps Tess’s attention solely on him. Now he just has to convince her to walk into Memphis P.D. with him and tell his partner that he is there and wants to continue working the case that left him dead.

Supernaturally Kissed is a light fluffy romance that is full of every emotion possible. I kept a smile on my face the majority of the book. Kipp has a personality that left this earth far too early. Now only Tess gets to experience his antics. I also found myself getting tearful at times. They truly do have an impossible relationship. Even when they give intimacy a go it’s hot, yet sad because one of them is missing the corporal form needed.

Kipp and Tess have such a sweet romance. I wanted so much more for them and I think that is what didn’t work for me with Supernaturally Kissed. It has a happy ending, but it feels more like a happily for now than a happily ever after. There’s another book coming out soon in this series, Demonically Tempted so perhaps it will shed some more light on how their relationship will work. I WILL read it. I loved the characters, all of them not just Tess and Kipp. They are in love and willing to do anything to be together. I was just left feeling hopeless for them. Their situation seems an impossible one.
