I was not too impressed with this Children of the Sea book. The Daughter of Atargatis Prophecy fell flat. At the end of the book you are left with numerous questions about whom and what survived the big climatic disaster end. There was a great deal of loss. I would have thought/expected that since the prince had found the one that the prophecy speaks of changing the power balance that there would have been some form of triumph. I did not get that feeling.
Conn and Lucy had a very flat relationship. They had great sex. Sexually they were very compatible. It was their relationship as a couple that left me wanting more for them. It was all about taking one for the team and sacrificing their individual wants. They seemed too convenient together. I will not be reading any more books from this series.

  1. Hi,
I read all three in the series and I must admit this was my least favorite. The scene in the garden made me very uncomfortable and the ending was disappointing. I really enjoyed book one though.

  2. That is probably my least favorite thing when the couple have great sex but the relationship is not hot. I like the pull of a great relationship, those are much better reads.
