Peter Cohen knows that he is gay. He figured this out all on his own. He is out and never hides who he truly is. Chris Fischer thinks he’s straight. He’s had girlfriends, been with them sexually, so he can’t be gay right? Soon after Chris moves into a new dorm he finds himself fast becoming friends with his openly gay neighbor. Peter knows he’s attracted to Chris, but he also knows closet cases and crushes on straight guys is a date with heartache.

I could not put this book down. Being from a small southern country town I know just how narrow minded and often cruel young adults can be (I’m sure it’s everywhere, I’m just stating what I know from personal experiences.) I was very eager to see how feeling and opinions and self-doubts would come out. Chris shocked me. I did not expect him to be so open minded with the questioning of his sexuality. It made for a very sweet romance. The emotions and the stumbling into a good place for them as a couple were amazing. I could not put this book down. I stayed up very late reading it and then got up early the next morning just to see how Peter and Chris would make their relationship work.

Chris and Peter moving from friends into a relationship and the steps they took were slow, sweet and Peter was extremely patient. Chris experiencing loving from a man for the first time was hot. I don’t want to give too much away but they were not even in the same room. Peter was so slow and caring when it came to Chris and his newly discovered attraction to one of the same sex. I loved it and I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Diva and the Frat Boy will be out May 14.

  2. Great review, your right about how people can be so cruel towards others especially in a small town. What's funny about that is 9 out of 10 times those individuals harassing are the ones who are hiding their sexuality in the closet. Sounds like an awesome book, I look forward to reading it. I love Daisy's writing
