Sons of Lyra is an anthology consisting of four short stories telling the tales of how four strikingly handsome princely brothers found and married their perfect match. They are the princes of Lyra Prime. Their lives have sometimes traveled them far from their home planet, landed them in bloody battles, or in one of the handsome prince’s case kept him at home away from everything his three brothers have enjoyed for far too long.

In Slave Princess Balt Lyra purchases more than he intended while out on a supply run on a backwater planet. Kayla knows that she has been purchased and what she is to be used for. Not knowing anything about the male she finds herself with she is shocked to discover his intentions are good, especially considering whom he is and what his people have done to hers.

Runaway Hearts was my favorite of the anthology. It was a sweet tale of how sometimes no matter how hard you try you just can’t run away from fate. Sebastian is being forced into a marriage arranged by his parents to a woman he has never even met. He also has never been allowed to leave his home world. He sees this as the last chance he has to just go. Deciding the best thing to do is flee his home and catch a transport ship to anywhere. I’m sure he never expected to meet someone who is also running away from their life.

Fight for Love is Remi Lyra’s tale. He is the youngest of the brothers. Remi spends his days training, honing his fighting skills. Remi is part of the Lyran Army. There is a nurse at his station that has caught his eye. Emmanuelle knows that Remi allows himself to get injured so that he may end up on her exam table.

Acer and Stella are the couple featured in Stranded. They have been on the same ship together for a while. They have been attracted to each other from the very beginning. Neither one of them has ever acted on the mutual attraction. It takes the catalyst of being stranded in space for them to finally do something about what they feel for each other. At that point it may be too late for them to have the happily ever after that they both want.

Each of the above short stories can be purchased individually. I much preferred reading all four bound in one book!

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow. Felicity is one of the authors I am bragging about as part of the Small Press Treasures Blog Hop giveaway & she has something she is going to be giving away!
