Warning: Pies were harmed in the making of this story and naughty references made about honey that might offend some readers. (This is the warning from the author. I’m not quite that witty with words.)

I really enjoyed Bunny and the Bear. This is a light hearted book with an overly bouncy, extremely peppy bunny shifter and an ornery, grumpy bear who is obsessed with pie. There are no hidden sexual innuendos in this book. The sexual innuendos are in your face blatant and highly entertaining!

Miranda is a happy, bubbly, chirpy, and constantly in motion bunny shifter. This is an extreme contrast to Chase the grumbly bear who is her current assignment. Miranda is an agent for FUC, Furry United Coalition. Chase’s name has turned up on a list of shifters that are being targeted, kidnapped, experimented on then killed. The FUC has assigned the remaining living shifters agents. The agents are to see that no harm comes to these shifters while trying to uncover who is the mastermind behind these evil crimes. Miranda is enjoying her assignment a little too much. The more she is around Chase the more she wants him to sample her honey pie and he reciprocates these feelings.

I loved the way Miranda and Chase balanced out each other’s extreme personality traits. The contrast of her overly perky to his dour was fantastic. Langlais uses their animals traits perfectly and so thoroughly in their individual personality traits. Chase fights the attraction. She’s a bunny. What is a big grizzly bear like him supposed to do with a veggie nibbling herbivore? The constant contact has him so befuddled that he’s saying things to her that he never would have thought possible. He’s thinking of stuff that he wants to do to her that he just can’t see himself ever doing with a bunny. Bad, bad bear for even thinking of cross species mingling. I must say once these two finally get together, HOTTNESS and they’re going at it like bunnies. Bunny and the Bear has a great mix of sexual tension, humor, action, erotic sex and fantastic dialogue.

Favorite quote, Chase to Miranda: “You are completely and utterly whacked.”

Eve is offering up an eBook copy of Bunny and the Bear to one very lucky individual. Just comment with email address for your chance to win! I will announce the winner on Saturday September 17. I honestly don't see why this giveaway can't be open for international. The book will be emailed.
